Defined by a crushed surface and a strikingly individual look, Verner Panton's iconic 1988 dish for Georg Jensen embodies the designer’s unique way of working with materials and original re-interpretation of traditional everyday objects.
Crafted in sterling silver at Georg Jensen's very own Copenhagen silversmithy, the piece is an impressive work of craft. Panton, in close collaboration with the house, started the design process with a single sheet of aluminium foil that was crumpled up and then smoothed out again to envision the final design.
