This festive candleholder, a part of the 2024 Christmas Collectibles series, is the design of long-time Georg Jensen collaborator Sanne Lund Traberg. Created to perch upon the branch of a Christmas tree, the base of the candle sits within a snug, palladium-plated ring that is balanced by a crescent moon-shaped ornament that hangs beneath.

Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before embarking on a career path that brought her to Danish companies like Lego and Georg Jensen. At Georg Jensen she was a design manager, and involved in designing a range of successful product line extensions.
As a designer Sanne Lund Traberg adds a contemporary and abstract expression to everyday objects while injecting a touch of historic references in the process. Her universe is graphical and sophisticated, and deeply rooted in Scandinavian design traditions.
