Spoon shapes

When designing Intoo, Anne Boysen started with a spoon, fascinated by its convex and concave shapes and the reflections they created. Inspired by Henning Koppel’s mid-century Caravel spoon, with its large round reflective surface and streamlined forms, she crafted her silver masterpiece.

A dip in the archives

Like every artist invited to collaborate with the house, Anne Boysen began with a visit to the Georg Jensen archives in Copenhagen, a treasure trove of the brand’s 120-year history. Inspired by the swirling forms of Vivianna Torun’s Moebius Brooch and the streamlined shapes of Henning Koppel’s mid-century Fish Dish, she aimed to craft a piece that combined elements of jewellery and hollowware.

In her first collaboration with Georg Jensen she draws inspiration from the brand’s historical archives and gives life to a unique work of craft.
