2021 Christmas Ball

Georg Jensen’s signature 18 karat gold plated Christmas bauble decoration is this year decorated with a stylised shooting star - a symbol of optimism and transient beauty. The open swirl cut outs reveal a polished gold interior that catches the light and adds a dimension of movement as the ornament slowly turns while hanging on the tree.

Known for her love of the nature as well as for her superb craftsmanship, Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg used both characteristics in the 2021 Christmas Collectibles collection. Inspired by a cold winter’s night sky but also referencing Danish modernism, the decorations are sure to become a much-loved part of many Christmases.

The ball decoration is beautifully crafted from brass and then plated with 18 karat gold in one of Georg Jensen’s own workshops in Denmark. It comes with both a traditional red and a seasonal blue ribbon.
