What is Affirm?
Affirm is a flexible way to pay for your online shopping. When paying with Affirm, you will know up front the total amount you’ll pay and you can choose the payment schedule that works for you. You will always exactly what you’ll owe and when you’ll be done paying. There are no hidden fees—not even late fees.
How it works
Step 1
Add products to your basket and proceed to payment. Select Affirm as payment method.
Step 2
Select the payment schedule that works for you, then confirm your loan. Affirm will never charge more than you see up front.
Step 3
Make easy monthly payments by downloading the Affirm app or sign in at affirm.com. Affirm will send you email and text reminders, so you never miss a payment.
What is required to pre-qualify?
Your Affirm account is created using your name, email, mobile phone number, birthday, and the last 4 digits of your SSN. This combination helps Affirm verify and protect your identity.
Does Affirm perform a credit check?
Yes, but it will not affect your credit score. When you first create an Affirm account, Affirm performs a ‘soft’ credit check to help verify your identity and determine your eligibility for financing. This ‘soft’ credit check will not affect your credit score.
Is my personal information secure with Affirm?
Yes, protecting your personal information is very important to Affirm. Affirm encrypt sensitive data including Social Security numbers. Affirm also maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information. Affirm does not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Subject to eligibility. Payment options through Affirm are provided by these lending partners.
