To introduce the German-born, American-bred, and now London-based jeweler, Jacqueline Rabun, as a designer, seems somewhat simplistic. When considering her exceptional work — its organic forms and architectural moments, its rich narratives and intellectual approach to adornment — it is clear that Rabun consistently elevates the ancient craft of jewelry making to an undeniable art form.
Rabun, who is entirely self-taught, launched her studio in London in the 1990s and began collaborating with Georg Jensen in 2000. She has since designed Offspring and Mercy, two of Georg Jensen’s most acclaimed jewelry collections, which perfectly exemplify her timeless and elegant design language.

Rabun is nothing short of an artist: precious metals are her materials of choice, the human body her consistent canvas and inspiration.
Greatly influenced by nature and the human condition, Rabun’s collections continuously explore the cycle of life, time’s passing, and the complexity of emotions: her jewelry is not only decorative but is imbued with rich symbolism. Uniting these universal themes with a truly contemporary design language that emphasizes simplicity and juxtaposes a strong, geometric elegance with soft, undulating curves, Rabun’s designs reveal both depth and integrity, admirable traits that are inherent to the designer herself.
It is little wonder that Rabun has become one of the most admired contemporary jewelers of our time, and Georg Jensen is proud to consider her a long-term collaborator.
