2020 Table Tree, small

Combining the traditional imagery of a Christmas tree - surely one of the most heart-warming symbols of the season - with striking contemporary design, this small 18 karat gold plated tree sculpture makes the perfect centrepiece for a table. The intricate cut outs depict an abstract ice flower which add an extra touch of Scandinavia style with its reference to both nature and traditional paper flowers.

This year joining the many designers who have created Georg Jensen’s hugely popular Christmas collectibles is Danish-born Sanne Lund Traberg who based her decorations on flowers collected from her very own garden. The results not only reference the natural world - so important to most Scandinavian design - but also the imagery of Art Nouveau that is a strong part of the Georg Jensen heritage.

The table tree is expertly created from stainless steel and then plated with 18 karat gold by craftsmen in Georg Jensen’s own workshop in Denmark.
