AMBIENCE Candleholder

Scandinavian minimalism at its most sculptural and dramatic, the Ambience candleholder was originally designed as a silver altarpiece for a mid-century church in Denmark but now has been reinterpreted in stainless steel to be more suitable for contemporary residential interiors. Stunning as a work of art in itself, it takes on a truly magical appearance when a large candle is lit and the warm glow is reflected in the mirror-polished finish.

With an education based in both Denmark and Japan, Magnus Stephensen was influenced by both Western and Eastern design aesthetics. Armed with this, he became well known for his strong minimalist work that captures both the restraint and the sophistication of the two cultures.

The tall candleholder is masterfully crafted from mirror-polished stainless steel.
